Welcome to Department of
Watershed Environment & Resources.
Due to a significant increasing number of
national projects which the IER was responsible, this Department
was created in 2001 to manage all works related to carrying out
our national, ministerial, and provincial sponsored research
projects. The majority of these projects are related to
management of environment and natural resources in the Saigon-Dongnai
river basin.
In July 2004, the IER leadership decided to change the
department's name into a more apropriate one: 'Watershed
Environment & Resources' with the aim to carry out an
unprecedented integrated management research project for Saigon-Dongnai
river basin.
